Getting ready-baked for Christmas

This week there was a series of lucky events coming up which led to me and all my schoolmates being at home on Monday and Tuesday - meaning that I'm only going to school for four days before the winter vacations finally take off!
So tomorrow I'm having an Italian test, and then I'll be basically free from everything: apart from Christmas presents. Didn't know what to do, until I came up with the idea (suggested by Ebba Zingmark) of giving self-backed cookies to my friends. Gave the recipe a try yesterday, and as you can see from the first picture, the result was pretty good looking and tasty. I'm anyway probably going to make cocoa-biscuits and decorate them like my family and I did this weekend (those on the second picture are what remains of the ones we prepared and then hung on the Christmas tree).
Moreover, we're having a kind of party during our last 2012 German lesson on Friday, and I'll be bringing a brownie-like cake to school: the result should look just like the one that my Mom did on Sunday (picture three).

So yeah, that's it. More than getting ready for Christmas, I feel like I'm kinda training to open a bakery...
who knows, I might need it one day! ^^

xoxo,
JJ
